Adhere To The Innovative Concept Of "People Without Me, People With Me, People With New Me"

For the introduction of the suspension

Definition of suspension.

The suspension system is a structural system of connections between the body, frame and wheels, and this structural system contains components such as shock absorbers, suspension springs, anti-roll bars, suspension sub beams, lower control arms, longitudinal rods, steering knuckle arms, rubber bushings and connecting rods. When the car is driven on the road it is subjected to vibrations and shocks due to changes in the ground. Some of these shocks are absorbed by the tyres, but the vast majority are absorbed by the suspension mechanism between the tyres and the body.

Suspension action.

The role of the suspension is to transmit the forces and torques acting between the wheels and the frame, and to cushion the impact forces transmitted to the frame or body by uneven road surfaces and to attenuate the resulting vibrations in order to ensure that the car can travel smoothly.

Suspension structure.

A typical suspension structure consists of elastic elements, guiding mechanisms and shock absorbers, etc., while individual structures also have cushioning blocks, transverse stabiliser bars, etc. The elastic elements are in the form of steel springs, air springs, coil springs and torsion bar springs, while modern car suspensions mostly use coil springs and torsion bar springs, and luxury buses use air springs

Suspension testing.

The multi-degree-of-freedom test rig for automotive suspensions mainly simulates static and dynamic mechanical performance evaluation tests of automotive suspensions, including high and low circumference fatigue and simulation of actual working conditions, and can also be used to test different parts by changing fixtures, such as subframes, shock absorbing elements (shock absorbers, etc.), cushioning elements (coil springs, etc.), guiding elements (control arms, upper swing arms, lower swing arms, etc.), other components (steering knuckles, wheel hubs bearings, drive shaft head, steering gear, stabiliser bar, various standard parts), etc.

The test system mainly consists of an actuating unit, an actuator assembly, a loading frame, a power unit, a hydraulic pump station, a control unit, a computer servo system, and a test system built in the form of blocks according to the structural form of the test piece

Suspension types.

Automotive suspensions can be further divided into non-independent and independent suspensions. The structure of a non-independent suspension is characterised by the fact that the wheels on both sides are connected by an integral axle and the wheels are connected to the frame (or body) together with the axle by means of a flexible suspension. When one side of the wheel bounces due to unevenness of the road, it inevitably causes the other side of the wheel to oscillate in the transverse plane of the car, so it is called non-independent suspension. The structure of independent suspension is characterised by the axle being disconnected and the wheels on each side being individually connected to the frame (or body) by means of a flexible suspension, so that the wheels on both sides can bounce independently without affecting each other.

The suspension is an important assembly in the car, which links the frame to the wheels elastically and relates to the performance of the car in a variety of ways. From the outside, the car suspension is a more difficult to achieve the perfect requirements of the car assembly, this is because the suspension to meet both the comfort requirements of the car, but also to meet the requirements of its handling stability, and the suspension is only composed of a number of rods, tubes and springs, but do not think it is very simple, the opposite aspects are opposed to each other. For example, in order to obtain good comfort, need to greatly cushion the vibration of the car, so the spring should be designed to be soft, but the spring is soft but easy to make the car braking "nod", acceleration "head up" and left and right side tilt serious bad tendency, not conducive to This is not conducive to steering and can lead to unstable handling.

Summary:

The suspension system is a structural system of connections between the body, frame and wheels, and this structural system contains components such as shock absorbers, suspension springs, anti-roll bars
